Whether you want to improve your overall well-being or your sports performance, Nutristats gives you the insight you need to get the best out of yourself!

What can Nutristats do for you as a client?

Our measurements give you insight into the ratio of fat mass/muscle mass in your body, but also into the state of muscle function!

Are you having trouble gaining weight, gaining weight or losing weight despite your efforts?

Then gain insight into your energy consumption using the resting metabolic rate measurement.

These measurements can be part of the treatment with another healthcare provider or function as your first step in improving your lifestyle. And of course you can also have the changes measured after a while when you have started working on your lifestyle.

  • Basal metabolic rate | indirect calorimetry

A way to measure how much energy your body uses. This is done by measuring the amount of oxygen you inhale and the amount of carbon dioxide you exhale. You can compare this to a kind of 'energy meter' that shows how much energy your body uses, even when you are at rest.

  • Energy consumption | activity measurement

The actometer is a small device that you wear on your upper leg for a few days. It measures how much and intensively you move in a day.

  • Body composition

A way to measure how much fat and muscle mass you have in your body. This is done by sending a weak electrical current through your body. Muscles conduct the current better than fat, so the device can determine how much muscle and fat tissue you have.

  • Muscle strength | hand grip strength

A simple way to determine how strong the muscles in your hands and arms are. The device measures the force you exert when you squeeze a handle. The force is measured in kilograms.

  • Muscle function

A few short tests will be used to see how well your body moves. The results of this test will show how strong and mobile you are.

  • Circumference measurements

Measuring waist circumference, upper arm circumference and calf circumference are important measurements to see if someone has a healthy weight and muscle mass. These measurements help to assess health, especially in case of malnutrition or overweight.

  • Nutrition check

An accurate nutritional history is important because it helps to understand what a person is eating and how much nutrition they are getting. By knowing exactly what a person is eating, a health care provider can determine if the person is getting enough nutrition or if they are missing something. This helps to prevent or treat health problems such as malnutrition or obesity. It also provides insight into what dietary changes are needed to improve health.
